To Arecibo and Aguadilla - Staging Our Jump to Dominican Republic

Leaving San Juan, Puerto Rico, Kent, Jerry and I sailed out of San Juan Bay and headed for Arecibo, about 37 miles. We spent one night anchored there and then sailed to east Aguadilla the next morning, also about 37 miles. Running downwind both days as usual, we had nice weather and 16-21 knot winds.

Aguadilla is on the western shore of Puerto Rico and is our jumping off point to Dominican Republic. We plan to leave Aguadilla early tomorrow morning (6:30 a.m.) to cross over to Punta Cana on the eastern shore of Dominican Republic. Fifteen knot easterly winds, fair skies, and relatively calm seas are expected. The crossing is about 80 miles, which is why we're leaving early. We'd rather not arrive in the dark. We plan to arrive at Cap Cana Marina around dinner time. Wish us an uneventful day and happy sailing!

Always hold on when the boat is moving
Can't we go faster?!
Nice sails!
