Greengos, a Mexican Treat in Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas

We had an itch for Mexican food this week and headed for Greengos, a Mexican restaurant in Charlotte Amalie, not far from the waterfront.

Entrance to Greengos down the alleyway
Just too hot to eat outside
Some of the best pork tacos and fish tacos we've
ever eaten! A Mexican feast.
Very cool doors to the kitchen...
...are carved wood and look very old.
This is not meant to be a picture someone's behind;
I was trying to capture how all the bar stools have
Mexican coins nailed into them.
Greengos claims to be the best tequila bar in St Thomas.
There are these fabulous colorful paintings on the walls.
Plus lots of interesting Mexican art, like this ofrenda, celebrating
Dia De Los Muertos.
Enjoying a margarita and a beer
This margarita is one of their specisalties: lime juice and
cucumber-infused tequila, with a bit of  jalapeno
Very old stone walls all around
A close-up of the art painted directly on the walls

More art painted directly on the wall
We'll be coming back!
