Our New Additions -- Now Ready to Head to Puerto Rico

Kent and his brother Jerry
Anchor Queen
A couple of days ago, our new mainsail arrived. Made in Sri Lanka, it was finally delivered to our boat in St Thomas after seven weeks. We also got a new fancy-schmancy anchor. This is all great news, since now we can resume our sailing journey. Next: Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Turks & Caicos, Bahamas, then Florida and north. Kent's brother Jerry, from Oregon, flew in and is sailing with us as far as he can go before his wife puts her foot down! We really enjoy having him on board!

The delivery of our new sail...over 200 lbs.
Thank you Joe and Arun from Quantum Sails!
1,000 sq feet of bright, white Dacron
Our new $900 55 lb Rocna anchor. If you ever have nothing to do,
go out to the Rocna website for a video demonstrating why this design
will give you a better night's sleep when you're anchored!
Kent and Jerry taking off our old Delta anchor and
installing the new Rocna.
Woohoo!

Looking good!
